Home is where the heart is…

What a weekend!  Billy & The Kids played two stellar performances, at two legendary venues in the place where it all began, San Francisco, CA.  Whether you have been a fan for 50 years or this was your first time in San Francisco, Billy and his bandmates proved that you can come home again–and really, there’s no place like home.

The weekend started with an intimate show at the legendary Sweetwater Music Hall with special guests, Eric Krasno on guitar and Bob Weir joining the crew for the second set.  It was a special treat to see the band in such a small venue and the crowd was thrilled to be there.  Read a detailed review at Jambands.com.

Then, outdoing themselves once again, Billy & the Kids took it up a notch on Saturday night with a show at the legendary Warfield Theater.  They Greyboy Allstars were an epic opener and what better way to get a party started?  Once the crowd was warmed up, “The Kids” took the stage to a joyful crowd and spent the night killing it with jam after jam.  Smiles all around, both on stage and in the crowd, and the spirit of the Grateful Dead alive and well in all our hearts.  Read more and check out some videos of this special evening at Live For Live Music.
